What is Houzz?

Houzz is a leading platform for interior designers, contractors, remodelers, and dealers to connect with homeowners. It’s utilized by homeowners that need access to all the tools and knowledge necessary when beginning the process of home remodeling.

Houzz streamlines the remodeling process for design professionals and homeowners through the convenience of a phone or computer. It allows clients to endlessly browse and save home inspiration photos, connect with others going through a similar process, and research and hire the right professional to plan and execute the design of their dreams. Professionals are able to market their company and services in detail, display their reviews, and discuss potential projects and design questions with homeowners—and there are roughly 40 million homeowners on the site!

How Does a Professional Qualify for The Best of Houzz Award?

The Best of Houzz Award is given for two different categories: service and design; professionals can win either one or both within the same year. Professionals are eligible for the service award if they have received enough positive reviews and feedback for their work. Once an award has been given, they can then display a badge on their Houzz account and own website which can help garner more interest from homeowners.

A mere 3% out of the 2.5 million home design and remodeling professionals active on Houzz are given this award, and we’re honored to take part in such a prestigious event.
