Certified
Kitchen Designers (CKDs) and Certified Bathroom Designers
(CBDs) specialize in the design, planning, and
execution of kitchens, bathrooms, and other
built-in units throughout the home. CKDs and
CBDs must meet common core educational
requirements, adhere to various legal
restrictions and regulations, and follow a
professional code of ethics. While the CKD and
CBD certification is not mandatory for participating
kitchen and bath design, CKDs and CBD present a
select group of expert designers in the interior
design profession.

Since founding the Kitchen Master in 1977, Ted has fostered
the growth and success of the DuPage County, family-owned and operated company by
remaining constant to his strong work ethic and philosophy of
design. He believes in creating spaces that are extensions of each
client's own being and that the “kitchen gives us the arena for family
growth, the hub of learning and loving, and the wellspring of our shared joys, sorrows, and dreams.” In keeping with that understanding, Ted’s kitchens recognize the importance of the intangible value of the space. Ted has been a CKD and CBD since 1996, and has had work published in Better Homes and Gardens, Bath and Kitchen Design Ideas, and local newspapers. Ted relaxes by hiking, fishing, and woodworking.

Jennifer’s work has been published in Kitchen and Bath Design Ideas magazine. When not focused on her clients’ interiors, Jennifer enjoys antiquing and opera.

Working at The Kitchen Master for several years has allowed Joseph
to gain extensive knowledge of kitchens and baths throughout various
levels of employment, ranging from installation, fabrication, and
design. The experience gained as an installer and fabricator gave
Joseph invaluable practical and technical knowledge. This experience
coupled with his interior design education at College of DuPage has
created the unique ability to design, innovate and direct careful
implementation of distinctive one of a kind kitchens and baths.
Joseph has earned his certification in kitchen and bath design
through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Joseph
understands the importance of a well planned space to his client's
daily life. Each of his designs is a true reflection of his client's
personality and lifestyle. Combining Joseph's
attention to
detail with his experience
and education gives Joseph the visual and
technical capabilities to design functional and breathtaking
kitchens and baths. When Joseph is not designing, he enjoys
athletics, sporting and musical events, weightlifting, and spending
time with his family.
